Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a great neighborhood joint for breakfast where it seems all the locals hang out! Everyone knew each other and the food was great! They make everything hot and fresh to order and I have to say, it was one of the best breakfasts...I’ve had in my many visits to the Pittsburgh area! Get the breakfast bowl with corned beef hash… Yummmm!!More

Stumbled upon the local place, tucked in on a residential street. Friendly greeting upon entering. All the tables were taken, so we grabbed two bar stools. Asked waitress for “best seller” and she provided two options: pancakes (did not order, but saw others with the...plate-sized treat) and the JuJu Special. Basically all of your breakfast favorites for $8.50 - 2 eggs (your choice of style), 2 slices bacon, 1 sausage patty, real home fries, toast (we chose the fresh Mancini Italian) and French Toast topped with powered sugar. Yummy, yummy, yummy without breaking the bank. Served fast and fresh. My scrambled eggs were a little brown (similar to one of the other reviews), but I like my eggs that way. I am sure if you wanted something different, they would accommodate. We will be heading back soon...no frills, but clean, friendly and good food at a great value!More

Great place for breakfast. Breads are so fresh and my wife and I had spicy sausage dishes which were fresh fast and delicious. Fast and friendly service too. If you don’t know what Mancini’s bread is (local bakery) its a must try.

Hubby had an omelet (and as someone else mentioned they do brown the outside a little but hubby still likes it) and I had a breakfast bowl (nice size home fries, sausage, eggs, and cheese cooked just right). The coffee and service are good and...the prices are very reasonable. Not much ambiance (there are some indoor tables and a few on the sidewalk) but that's okay, it's a neighborhood place and the area is lucky to have it. It is nice to support a local establishment and we have never had a bad meal here. They are only open for breakfast and lunch.More

I was advised not to order an omelet because they brown (overcook) the eggs. I ordered the breakfast bowl with scrambled eggs, home fries, and American cheese. The scrambled eggs were also browned. If you like your eggs this way this is your place to...get them. You do get a lot of food for the money.More

A little off the beaten path but just what the doctor ordered! Chef and Rachel were both very friendly and personable. Chev prepared my burger and the wife had a veggie bowl. The burger was served on Mancinis grilled bread with bacon bbq and fried...cheddar and it was delicious! My wife had the veggie bowl which was like a breakfast bowl. It was very good as well! Recommend stopping! Support local and shop at a local restraunt!More

Hubby and I both had one of the breakfast specials and ate every bite; there was a lot of food at a very reasonable price and everything was perfectly cooked. Have only been here for breakfast (they also serve lunch) but every time we've gone...it has been good. Coffee isn't bad, service is attentive and it's nice to support a local establishment. It's a small place but when the weather is nice you can sit outside.More

This is such a cute little neighborhood place! I had a huge breakfast which was tasty and a really good price, especially compared to some of the bigger chain restaurants nearby.
