We were driving back to Hartford, CT after a week in Mt Snow. My wife found this place and we stopped for lunch. I had two Asada Tacos and my wife had the Potobello Mushroom sandwhich - they n=both were to die for! The Asada was so tender it melted and the Portobello mushroom sandwich was just so smooth! Im... Loved the pork street tacos - the creative menu leaves lots to return for - looks like it's a local community space to hang - relaxed, good vibe.

Locals recommended this restaurant right in the heart of town. We were pleasantly surprised at the innovative menu and their reasonable prices. Would happily return if we're ever in the area.

Their espresso ranks #1 in terms of the number of sugar packets you have to add to make it drinkable. Instead of feeling energized, I felt dyspeptic. They have no diet drinks in their tiny beverage collection. Their pastries are 99% flour and sugar. Make sure you get to Greenfield when Greenfield Coffee is NOT closed.

Good coffee, good service, good food. Parking is an issue but if you work downtown and can walk, it's the best way to get there. A locals daily stop!

We stopped here after reading reviews on Yelp and were so happy we did! The food is fresh, flavorful and delicious. We had a number of different dishes and everyone was very happy with their meal.

We live within walking distance of the Brass Buckle and love a leisurely breakfast there. So many choices that you won't find anywhere else posted on the big whiteboard with along with the traditional fair such as biscuits and gravy. I had terrific enchiladas there last Sunday ... really, really good. And, The Brass Buckle , every month donates soup... More

I've reviewed this place before but have been away for awhile. I visited this restaurant yesterday and wondered why I stayed away so long. The menu is varied and amazing. I noticed that they had grits on the menu and that's almost impossible to see on a menu here in the northeast. The biscuits are still the best I've ever... More

Rather eclectic pictures on the wall of the coffee house. Space ships, cowboys, lighthouses, robots...........the crowd is a mix as well. Very comfortable and the coffee was great. The sandwiches are very good as well. Good prices

Description
Fantastic new venture run by J.D. Hairston, mad-scientist/cook and partner-in-crime Anika Balaconis. The menu offers Tex-Mex-like cookin' with a variety of tacos (including the delicate and hand-corned "lengua" tongue and beef tacos) with an incredible array of toppings from pickled onions and jalapenos to flavored sour creams, goat cheeses and more. From a saltcod po'boy to the best grits n' eggs this side of the Mississippi -- homemade nut brittles and "cherry pie cookies" -- this cafe is tailoring itself to the tastes of the community and creating a wonderfully welcoming place with an interesting and diverse menu for all to enjoy. The Vegie Melt is to die for!
