We'd read about this place on Trip Advisor, so decided to check it out on our trip. Busy, friendly help for the most part, casual, lots of unusual and interesting items from freshly prepared food, organic fruits and vegetables, to handmade soap and essential oils, and more. Fun browsing. We went there a couple times, as it's easy to find....right... More

We stopped by to get some items at the market and ended up getting something to eat as well. The counter personnel were very helpful and hospitable.

Great choice of salad bar, soups, hot bar, prepared food to go and food made to order. Everything is organic and pretty tasty. Not cheap but very tasty, convenient and friendly.

For natural and organic foods the Co-Op on Bridge Street is the place to go. While pricing on average can be a bit higher than elsewhere, the quality makes it worth every penny.

I was feeling ill and didn't know where or what to do! I went into the co- op hoping for some natural relief. I met a kind and knowledgeable person who showed me around. He explained the different products and what they do. I asked questions and he was very patient and didn't mind listening to me. He showed me... More

We first tried the cafe inside the COOP because we knew my vegan daughter could get a meal here, surprising thing was my carnivore daughter loved it just as much. They have great coffee and desserts too. When the weather is nice they have and outdoor patio.

We are members and eat at the market restaurant quite often. They offer a terrific salad bar with organic veggies and salads (vary but include things such as pasta, tofu, quinoa, tuna, chicken) with homemade dressings. Hot bar is very good and usually includes a meat/fish entree, brown rice, steamed kale or other greens. Soups are generally very good and... More

There is something about this place that could creep you out -- maybe it's too green? Too much kale? Nothing bad ever happened there, it's just a vibe.

I have popped into the Co-Op a number of times on my visits to Great Barrington. It's a nice grocer with plenty of healthy, organic and earth-friendly options. The cafe is nice, too. This visit, I got a cold-pressed green juice and a berry smoothie. All made right in front of me and totally fresh and free of junk. The... More
