My husband and I went here for Valentine's Day dinner. They bring out cheese and crackers while you wait and the cheese was scrumptious. We had the crabcake appetizer which was just so-so, but they made up for it with the dinner. The salads were great. I ordered filet mignon and my husband ordered the prime rib. Both were cooked... We stopped in too late for dinner, after seeing a movie nearby at Patriot Place, and were given a pub menu in the bar. Chicken Caesar salad, burger but both quite good, especially the burger. Charming, friendly staff and live music that night. Several interesting and fun drinks, as well as the usual suspects at a very well-stocked and reasonable... More

We went there for lunch. Instead of bread we got crackers. Food was so so. Inside looks kind of old. Food was so so..

This is a tired old restaurant that was once a gem of Route 1, but it has certainly seen better days. The food is average - not bad, not a wow. The best thing going for this restaurant is the atmosphere. They have a great, cozy little bar area where they feature live music. I've caught a folk duo in... More

Went to Lafayette House Saturday night. The reservations were for 7:00 PM and we were seated promptly when we arrived at 6:45. We found the food to be very good as well as the service. My wife had scallops and I had the bone-in roast beef. Delicious and plenty of it; we both brought home leftovers. If there was a... More

Had a great Chistmas meal. The rooms had beautiful holiday decorations. The service and food were excellent.

great location - bit of a walk ( 30 min ) but I would rather walk than sit in traffic . Nice lot with the ability to tailgate etc. but the owner guy who directs you to park has got to CHILL OUT - what a major dick . Almost make me want to not park here . Everyone else... More

This was our first time going to this restaurant and last. We were 4 adults celebrating my husband's birthday and we had reservations for 7 o'clock this past Saturday the 19th and they sat us right away which was nice. The server Allie was great and this review has nothing to do with her. The men ordered Martinis (2 different... More

We couldn't have asked for a better rehearsal dinner, the buffet was perfect, we had prime rib, baked stuffed shrimp, and chicken with broccoli and Alfredo sauce. Everything was perfect and the service couldn't have been better. Thank you Ron for making our night exceptional.

Charlene was a fantastic and attentive waitress. She volunteered interesting historical tidbits. I was in the room with the "well"; it was nicely decorated, clean linens and comfortable side chairs. The food came out at appropriate times. I initially thought it was expensive for the chicken and pasta, but they were huge servings, 2 meals on one plate. The desert... More
