What a delightful little gem we discovered while on a video shoot in the lively lovely town of Fitchburg. Chris and Mary are keeping this historic diner a wonderful part of the community fabric. Enjoyed an abundant breakfast of delicious classic fare for a bargain. The diner itself was built in the thirties not far from Fitchburg. The quartered-oak booths... More

Serving Breakfast and lunch Worth the visit, you'll be back. Affordable, ample portions and free refills of coffee and tea. The corned beef hash is crispy and creamy at the same time. Terrific hash browns... Everything you would expect from a hometown classic.

I love the homes fries! Almost worth the trip alone. Good service and quick turnaround. Coffee always fresh and kept topped up.

I decided to give this place a try since I only live 2 miles from it. First off it is an old diner car which I really like. You don't see too many of them anymore. I went on a Monday and it has about 5 people in the place. As I picked out my table I noticed when I... More

Gritty all right: nothing seems to have changed for a long time, so it's perfect for diner aficionados. I got a roast chicken meal for lunch, and it was fantastic, a good sized portion, perfectly cooked and tender, and the sides were out of this world, particularly the carrots and turnip dish. It's rare that a casual restaurant makes cooked... More

Yes it's acute looking diner but that all... Very limited sandwich menu , some soup, salad ... It's a shame it could be much more.. Food was fair, greasy hot dog and the hamburger was a flat burger cooked from frozen... There are other choices in town.. They should come up with a better menu and improve the quality...

Excellent breakfast. If you come to the Fitchburg area, and miss this pit stop, you will regret it. Owners are wonderful, portions are good, and the eggs are unlike any other place I have been to. Not sure what he does to his eggs, but they taste great. We have two favorite spots to eat breakfast and this happens to... More

My family and I were spending an overnite in Fitchburg during Feb break and looking for a decent place to eat for breakfast. 4 people with 4 different appetites can not be easy to please. Moran Square is the perfect place - it offered traditional breakfast items like pancakes and oatmeal to their daily special items - homemade hash, french... More

Hardcore carriage diner, very gritty very real - love it. Mix with the locals and have an fantastic breakfast. This area is one of the best areas in the country for authentic diners, and this one is up there.

Thank Alan P
