it just keeps getting better with time. The cuisine, whether winter, spring, summer or fall is incredibly well thought out to reflect the season and available fresh and interesting product. I had coq au vin, just a classic comfort winter addition, that was perfect, rich and accompanied by local grilled fresh vegetables....to say nothing of fabulous duck pate. It is... More

The Glass Onion quickly made it to the number 1 spot for a nice evening out this summer and one of the places we always bring friends/ guests coming to visit. The food is excellent, the menu is seasonal and fresh, the service is very good and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. This definitely isn't your typical "sea-shanty" establishment... More

We are never disappointed by the food or service offered to us when dining at The Glass Onion. We particularly like eating there off season as there is never a wait.

Went here last night. Outstanding. Every course was wonderful. Squash bisque, lobster appetizer, and probably the best filet mignon we have ever had... the blue cheese butter was inspired. And home-made coffee ice cream that tickles those corners at the back of your mouth. Wonderful!!! And a terrific waiter to boot. Can't wait to come back.

Great ambience, amazing food and wonderful hospitality without being intrusive. We were made feel 'at home' in a sophistaked though comfortable environment. The service was attentive and relevant. The evening was the dining highlight of our six week tour which covered Europe, UK and the New England States.

The owner of our hotel recommended this restaurant but warned us that it wasn't cheap and, as it was at the far end of town, we rejected it at first. We drove into Falmouth and walked down the high street looking at menus only to find that, without a booking anywhere - it was a Saturday night - we would... More
