I actually had the lobster roll. It was my first one ever but it was amazing. The clam chowder was very good as well, I also had the clam cakes and they were amazing. I thought the food was excellent and priced right. I would go back if in the area again.

This place is an old favorite and has been around forever. It is great to go back each time not only for the great customer service and food but is nice also because my family has been coming here for years.

The place had a dirty carpet smell we should have left then. We split a fisherman platter-- clams and scallops ok shrimp should have been cleaned of the sand vein gross. The fish was very greasy and pulled away from the over thick batter. I also ordered a cup of chowder that was like jelly and had a wierd chemical taste.... More

Gene's is a local seafood restaurant. Although they do offer healthier baked/broiled fish entrees their primary focus seems to be fried seafood. The portions are large and taste was good. This is definitely a "no frills" environment. Dining area is rather small with pic-nic tables. Utensils are plastic and plates are paper. Décor is rather old and dingy. Price a... More

The shrimp roll was very good with a very good helping of butterflied shrimp. After I got my roll built, I still had 5 or 6 shrimp left to enjoy on the side.

Fried seafood. Whole belly clams, scallops, fish, shrimp. Everything fried. Generous portions. Very greasy fried food. Paper plates. Plastic cutlery. Nothing fancy. Limited parking. Very small restroom. Inside picnic table style seating.

We were looking for a place to get a lobster roll. This was amazing. Staff was so nice and the lobster rolls were well worth the price. All five us had the jumbo lobster roll. Get the jumbo it's the perfect size

Haven't been in the area for a few years and I had to return. The place consists of picnic tables both inside and out. Indoor tables have a vinyl covering. The place is sit down after you order at the counter. The food is always delicious but some of the older member of our crew seem to think it is... More
