Fishbones is a phenomenal restaurant. Although on the higher middle-class side of gastronomical establishments, you get what you pay for in my opinion. Leslie was out waiter last night. An energetic, congenial personality she was attentive to us and our needs. She claimed she had been in the business for 30 years and it showed. She was marvelous. I started... More

No matter the day or time, you are always guaranteed a wonderful meal at Fishbones. Summer brings outdoor seating. Evenings, enjoy the bar or get yourself a table. Be sure to say hello to the neighbor at the next table or seat- you may become friends with someone new. Favorite bites: bacon wrapped sea scallops, strawberry salad, lazyman lobster, lobster... We were there on a Saturday night. It was jammed but the food was excellent. One hardly can go wrong with lobster risotto and seafood stews and they didn't. Service was timely and efficient, perhaps a bit harried. Wine markup is quite reasonable; it seemed to be about 50 percent. For restaurants, this amounts to a cause for celebration. The... More

I was here for dinner with coworkers on a business trip. I ordered the clam chowder and it was very fresh and tasted great. I ordered the fish tacos and it tasted great. The atmosphere inside was very lively and active. Service was very good and always asking how everything tasted. Recommend a reservation to get a table. Wonderful seafood... More

This relatively small restaurant in Chelmsford offers very good variety of fresh fish and seafood options. The selection is quite large and dishes are consistently good. Expect a mid to upscale cost and note the place is often quite busy but in my experience well worth it.

We love Fishbones. If we go out for dinner near home, this is where we go - every. Single. Time! The wait for a table can be outrageous- Last weekend it was 2 hours- but we snagged a seat at the bar with in 15 minutes. If I remember we do the call ahead seating. I change up my order... More

Service was great, the meals were average. Fishermen's platter ($25) was plentiful, lightly breaded not over-greased but just not much taste. Broiled haddock ($20) small piece of fish, lightly seasoned, asparagus overcooked, mashed potatoes yummy(butter), oyster(CT) pretty good. Atmosphere was nice, but loud.

I came for lunch with a friend who said this was her favorite restaurant. It didn't disappoint. She got some shrimp and pasta dish that she seemed to love, and I thought my lobster roll was excellent. I will definitely return when I'm in the mood for seafood.
