Have had a couple of successful dinners at Fishbones and opted to try it for lunch today. It was not overly crowded and we were seated right away. The server brought us drinks and was very laid back as we were too chatty to make and immediate decision on what to order. Today's lunch specials were a shrimp stir fry... More

We were in town and wanted to find someplace with good seafood. Navigated to Fishbones as it was close to our hotel. Friendly attentive server who recommended a few items, I ordered the grilled seafood platter and my husband had the fried seafood platter. The pleasant surprise was a pumpkin risotto on the menu. The seafood was good, but the... More

Another "Fish" restaurant that fails to make the fish the star. Have been to so many fish restaurants that just don't make the grade when creating dishes. This is just another to ad to that list. Noisy atmosphere, not very spacious for seating, and the food was luke-warm when delivered to the table.

An out of towner's first time visit and I've very much wanted some seafood. I found Fishbones on a quick search and was glad I did. I tried the clam chowder and a kitchen special 'baked haddock'. Both were delicious, hot and very filling. Can't want to go back.

My wife and I had never been to Fishbones and we were looking forward to having dinner there. The seating is extremely cramped. We were sat at table 19 I believe. The couple that was seated at that table just before us complained about the noise. They were relocated closest to the window. Seated directly next to us were a... More

Arrived early on a Tuesday evening and had no problem being seated. Server, Kelly, was very good and attentive without being intrusive. Starters were clam chowder and the truffle dusted home made chips. The chowder was as good as any and better than many and the chips were flavorful and crunch. Entrees were a fried seafood platter, a couple of... More

I wouldn't miss an opportunity to dine at Fishbones for exceptionally fresh and well prepared seafood.

The restaurant is quite small. The bar area dominates the restaurant therefore it becomes very noisy when dining. The food is excellent.

I've been to Fishbones before usually with larger groups and always had very good service and meals. This outing continued that experience for just my wife and me. We went on a Monday evening so though busy, was much easier to be seated quickly. The server was very attentive, the appetizer and meals came out quickly and everything tasted great.... More

Found the restaurant by google searching Seafood Restaurants in Chelmsford, liked the reviews online. Couldn't get reservations for a party of four. The wait was less than a 1/2 hour. We had little necks, 4 varieties of oysters, clam chowder, salmon, Halibut & fried clams. All were very good, all though the halibut was just a shade over cooked. Our... More
