Always enjoy going to Schoolhouse for ice cream, lunch, or take out for supper. It's a great place to get a quick small meal with chips, a beverage, and a small ice cream treat, too! The owner is very pleasant, accommodating, and maintains a well-run local eating/ice cream parlor. The place is very aesthetically appealing for children and adults alike.... More

Went with the family. I had a kiddie size of the Lucky Charms flavor. It was perfect! Sweet and creamy. Kiddie size is by no means for children. It was even a bit too much for me! Prices seem a bit high, but the quality is very good.

On a recent visit to see family in Boston, our grandson, 12 years old, asked me to come watch his baseball practice. I really enjoyed watching his team and our future Red Sox player. I remember as a kid going to play ball and after that going out for a treat with my father. So, I decided to carry on... More

We took our 3 year old granddaughter and not only had trouble getting a small portion but were charged for what we asked her to put back in the tub. Accordingly we ordered small portions and ended up throwing about 1/3 away as we just were stuffed.

OVERALL: LOVED the ice cream here! Much better than Coldstone (Coldstone is not bad, but this is clearly better!). QUANTITY: We got the Large ice cream size, and it was a good size! $6.50 per large ice cream, but you can use an Entertainment Book coupon to save roughly half the price. QUALITY: Excellent! The flavor was excellent. We got... More

My daughter and I stopped at Schoolhouse ice cream for an after dinner ice cream . The service was friendly. . The portions were generous. . The flavors were intense in a pleasent way. . I particularly liked the Hula flavor (coconut based ice cream) The ice cream style was a bit hard and did not feel rich. . But... More

I was craving a bannana split and Schoolhouse is two mins from my home. It was 3:00 PM in the afternoon so i figured why not. I got there in 2 mins. I was going to order my dessert and sit down and eat it, but I noticied they had soup of the day and it was Clam Chowder. I... More

I had heard that some of my friends had tried schoolhouse ice cream and figured we'd give it a shot one afternoon as a treat. I won't say their selection is huge but it is decent and varied. My wife ordered a medium cone and when I saw their idea of a medium I quickly changed my order to a... More

Took my two girls for slush, they wanted cotton candy cause it was listed on the website but they only had two flavors. That was fine. What wasn't fine was that they charged $4.20 for a children's slush!!! When I ordered, she asked a children's and I said yes, your smallest. Then when I was rung up for $8.40, I... More

You're in Burlington. You don't feel driving too far north or south. You just need a good cup of ice cream. Hop on over to Schoolhouse. Good serving sizes, some great flavors and a really cute atmosphere (the fact wall was enthralling).
