Having skipped lunch, I anxiously awaited meeting a friend for a very early dinner at Legal Sea. I arrived shortly before 5 and the place was already hopping this early on a Wednesday night. As my dining partner had not yet arrived, I saw there...More

We have eaten in other Legal Sea Food restaurants, but this was even better. The food was exceptionally fresh and well prepared. The people were so pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. This is a well-managed establishment and the food was top notch.

Not inexpensive but quite delicious. Great service. A busy busy place. The service is terrific food delivered fast and with a high quality. A line starys before 5pm, even during the week, but they turn tables quickly. If you are alone or as a couple...More

The service was fast and friendly. The floors were a bit dirty and needed to be swept. The seafood casserole was delicious.

Great seafood, on the expensive side. Not something that I do every week. It is a special occasion thing.

Great to have it right across form the mall, and I front of our hotel. Food was excellent, as usual. The interior is that of a typical legal seafood.

I went with my husband for dinner. The new location is nice, although parking can be difficult. We were seated at our reservation time. Service and food were what you would expect from this chain restaurant.

Loved the service here. Loved the menu. Can't wait to go back. I had the oysters as an appetizers and the seafood casserole as the main.

Description
The signature dish at Legal Sea Foods – really fresh fish. Get reeled in to our U-shaped bar or wood-paneled dining room. Those traveling to and from Cape Cod on Route 93 are known to make a stopover for seafood. And not to be missed: two monumental fish tanks in our restaurant, one fresh water and one salt water. We’ve received a boatload of accolades including “Most Popular Boston Restaurant” (Zagat, 2012/2013), “Best Seafood Restaurant” (Improper Bostonian, 2010), “Best Chowder” (Boston Magazine, 2010), “Best Seafood Restaurant” (Boston Phoenix, 2009) and the honor of serving our legendary New England Clam Chowder at every presidential inauguration since 1981.
