Ate here on a bus trip. The food was great and the service was good. We enjoyed walking around the grounds and the water front views. Not open off season.

If you are ever near St. Michael's, you need to stop here! It's beautiful, right on the bay. Eat outside and enjoy the breeze! The food is very good and relatively inexpensive. It is cash only, so be prepared for that, though there is an ATM outside. We eat here every time we are in the area and highly highly... More

I grew up going to the Crab Claw and was excited to visit as an adult. They did not disappoint. We were seated outside on the dock just steps from the water. It was Labor Day weekend and we were still easily accommodated and very well taken care of. The beer was cold and crabs were amazing. Can't wait to... More

On a beautiful fall day we traveled to St Michaels and happened upon the Crab Claw located right next to the Chesapeake Maritime Museum. There were very few people there at 3 PM, so we got a seat on the deck right next to the water. Since it was going to be dark around dinnertime, we sat and watched the... More

Food was mediocre -- nothing to write home about. I asked my server to cut my sandwich in half -- did not happen. Kind of expensive. The view, overlooking the harbor, from the second floor dining area was nice however.

There isn't anything that ruins my visit more than a horrible dining experience. Slow service, over priced servings, and mediocre food. I ordered the creamy crab soup. And I didn't finish it because I couldn't bring myself to do it. First off, on the menu, this dish is listed as a bowl. Well, to me, a bowl is not a... More

Had the spiced boiled shrimp in shell and they were wonderful as were the onion rings and the coleslaw. Friendly server.

Meal was excellent. Crab cakes to die for. The atmosphere was fun, friendly and beautiful. Our friends we were with had their 2 well behaved dogs and they were certainly a conversation piece.
