My wife and I have been going to this great little place on the Pike for over a decade. It was our treat to ourselves after co-scheduled dental visits nearby since we live near Frederick, MD. Our visits have been less since we changed dentists, but the great food at Yuan Fu, plus a chance to see our friend, Mary... More

This is my favorite Chinese vegetarian restaurant in the metropolitan DC area. I recommend (1) asparagus with portobello mushrooms and enoki and (2) shiitake mushrooms with shredded ginger and cilantro. Their fried spring rolls are one of the best I have ever had. I love this restaurant so much that I am considering moving closer to Rockville!

Finally, I have found a vegetarian restaurant that not only serves dishes that are well-executed and properly seasoned, but they are inventive enough to keep me wanting to try more of its offerings despite the lack of animal protein. At times, I could not believe that I was enjoying them as much as I did, with the wonderful perfectly balanced... More

We ate there in May, as part of a large (about 10) graduation party, and ordered several dishes to share. They were all very tasty. My one small issue is that the bus staff started clearing the table of uneaten food without asking if we were done. Craig Herberg

As for my self I'm not a vegetarian, yet, as a meat eater, it gives me a little bit of perspective when a vegetarian food tries to pretend to be meaty one. I think that this restaurant should be categorized under Art-craft section as they making food, all vegetarian that is looks like, taste like, and frankly, healthier than the... More

Always had great service and great veggie food here. It's very healthy too, not overloaded with added sugar or salt. Some people may find it blander than other restaurant food because of this, but it's because it's healthy and our palettes are used to the heavily salted and fatty foods served most everywhere. Having said that, I find it very... More

We ordered a few dishes to share: Crispy Orange chicken with broccoli (my favorite), portabella mushrooms, Kung Pao beef, and a chicken dish with lotus flower. I am not a vegetarian, but enjoyed all the servings. The sauces were really good and we did not go away hungry.

The staff is polite and friendly. This restaurant is vegetarian, but does not use any fish, or fish sauce products, (and I don't think they use dairy products so a vegan can eat there as well)..The portions are large, the prices are fair and most importantly, the food is great. Most of the vegetables, if not all, are fresh. I... More

Been going here years. Lots of variety. Reasonable prices. Delicious. And often enough to take some home. Best thing- no animals harmed or exploited for any food on the large menu.
