The ambiance here is great and they have several different dining areas all with different decor. The food is always very good, although the vegetarian options are somewhat limited. It's usually quite busy so I recommend making a reservation.

This is one of the Clydes restaurants but has a wonderful selection of seafood. The have special selections, and happy hours, for the oysters, clams and shrimp. Also they have a good selection of main fish courses like salmon and trout. The crab cakes were ok but not great. The wine selection is adequate. The fun part is that there... More

Went there for Easter brunch yesterday. Had a reservation. Got there on time and seated right away. Good service. And so glad they serve filtered water. I think every restaurant needs to invest on a filter for the water they serve. Food is okay, nothing to write home about. But we will go back.

Food was good (I had a lamb dish) my wife had scallops. Food was 4 star. Service was a 2. Our server rushed us. Clearing plates before we were actually done. Encouraging us to leave in some not so subtle ways (We were a group of 4 professionals all in our 60's and well behaved). Service was a 2. Averages... More

Another one of my Hidden Gems. Located off 270, Clyde's is one of my favorite restaurants. It is upscale enough for business meetings and friendly enough for family and friends. The staff are very professional and friendly. The wait time is appropriate and hanging out at the bar is a lot of fun. Compared to the Clyde's in DC or... More

We went to Clyde's Tower Oaks around dinner time 6:00 PM. This was our first time to go this location. The dinner and the service were good. The experience was good, and we do plan to go back again. We had the seat in the back bar facing the woods, and it had a great view from the windows. The... More

We went to Clyde's Tower Oaks because it was nearby and it was late - about 9 pm. We hadn't been there for a few months. Our dinner was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxing and comforting, our server - Michael - provided a level of service and attention on a par with the finest restaurants anywhere. The experience was simply... More

I haven't been here in a while, so I was looking to see if the restaurant was as good as it was a few years ago. The answer: probably better. We were a group of 11, and had a reservation. There were two wait staff that assisted us - and they were terrific. The service was perfect - the food... More

I have eaten at two other Clyde's restaurants, but this was our first time at the Tower Oaks Lodge. Like every visit to a Clyde's restaurant, the service and food is high-quality, but I loved the atmosphere most of all. Quieter and cozier.

We really there for brunch this morning with my son, DIL, grand daughter and wife. Great atmosphere and decor, feels like a mountain lodge in one of the western national parks. We were seated immediately. Greeting was warm. Service was excellent. I had the Reuben Sandwich and my wife had the Rockfish. We were both well satisfied with our selections.... More

Description
Tucked away in a 22-acre nature preserve just fifteen minutes from Georgetown, Tower Oaks Lodge has the look and feel of an authentic Adirondack lodge. Divided into four dining rooms, the Lodge contains a vast collection of art and artifacts such as vintage canoes and row boats, and antique saddles and trophies. Chef Jeffery Eng, formerly of 1789 Restaurant, presides over the kitchen team featuring a menu of great American saloon-style food. The Lodge offers the freshest seafood, locally-grown seasonal vegetables, pastas, and salads, as well as Clyde's classics such as cheeseburgers and chili.
