This cafe is a country friendly place to enjoy country hot and cold foods. The small historic building is known for the 1700’s hugh oak tree that still has some of the trunk pieces on the ground between the cafe and the road. Tasty food...More

I got the special. For the money it sucked. A little chicken and cheese on a tortilla. Prepackaged salsa and sour cream. Fries were cold. Coleslaw was good. Lemon meringue pie was good. Service was slow. Despite there being few customers. Other customers seemed to...More

While this is a very popular little Cafe, I wasn't very impressed with the waitress attending our table. She wasn't attentive, or even really friendly. She had an I don't care about my job kind of attitude. Most likely wouldn't visit again.

Solid little diner with a patriotic feel for local as well as traveling clientele. Pies and ice cream for dessert. Service was very good. Had a burger my first time with apple pie for dessert. Soup the second time.

I have been to this place a few times over the last few years and it has been ok. Today was a total disaster. First the waitress had the worst attitude of any server I have ever had. She never smiled, acted as though we...More

I've been 20 times. My favorite story is the visit when I ordered the Banana Split for dinner. I believe it had been over 20 years and was worth the wait. The ice cream was solid and everything down to the cherry was fresh. Meatloaf...More
