Go often. I went for the buffet-style lunch on Saturday, and it started filling up. I highly recommend the dosais which they bring to your table periodically. Sambar was solid. Excellent dal and chana. Good variety. Falooda was good too.

Woodlands is my absolute favorite place for Indian food. If your looking for authentic vegetarian Indian food at a low price point look no further. My family loves the brunch buffet filled with spinach, chickpea, curries, soups, salads, crepes and dessert options.

This was 2nd visit to the place during a business visit. The restaurant is pure vegetarian and has a very good spread. We had buffet on a Sunday afternoon which had very good choices. The food was very tasty.

We have been eating brunch at Woodlands for decades. It has been consistently excellent and the choices vary from week to week. The other thing I have always found interesting is the broad cross section of the population this strictly vegetarian restaurant attracts. Of course there are the Indian Subcontinentals. In addition there are the new wave of vegetarians, the... More

We love Woodlands. They have great food and service. While their buffet is wildly popular, I am a fan of the regular menu. Do not miss treating yourself to one of their incredible dosas, so perfectly crisp and buttery. Yum! While there are other good choices in the neighborhood, especially for non-veg, you cannot beat Woodlands for consistently exceptional food.

I went to this place when was traveling to Washington DC. There are not many 100% vegetarian restaurants in DC. I remembered going to this place in past and visited again. Same yummy taste and chef was very friendly that he made Jain Chhole Bhatura that was mouth watering. This is jain friendly place.

Woodlands is an outstanding restaurant that specializes in South Indian cuisine but offers dishes from other regions as well. The weekend buffet is the best value because of the great variety of dishes to sample. My favorites are the curries and the street food. But the masala dosas, Indian crepes stuffed with potato and vegetables, are also excellent. I have... More
