I happen to be passing by this rural town in Maryland when I stumbled across the Triangle. It's everything you would expect from a small town restaurant. I had the NY strip and my wife had the crab cakes. The steak came out sizzling and was made to perfection, and the homemade rolls that came with it were the best... More

This restaurant has the best lump crab cakes. The portions are big and the home made flavor is worth a detour when traveling by the small town of Hancock, MD.

Triangle is not fancy but food is tasty and prices are reasonable. Great fresh cut fries. Wings on Wednesday night for a good price.

Well, had a pleasant surprise this month on our annual bicycle safari. Swung over to the Triangle for dinner and noticed the place had a complete face-lift. I mean the outside was totally done over. Looks great and was comforted to know that the food and atmosphere inside was the same. Thanks Bev, you know how to put on the... More

Yes, the joint has many aspects of a typical yankee 1950's bar. But the service was good and with a lovely smile. Wide selection of wings, including necked, which are often hard to find. It was surprisingly non smoking, another plus. C like Ean restrooms, full bar, separated from the "dinning" area.

We stopped for lunch after a bike ride on the C&O Canal Trail, and I was stunned to find that what looked from the outside like a place with standard bar fare had handcut fries, hand-sliced turkey breast on my club sandwich, and a hand-formed burger patty on my husband's bacon cheeseburger. The bartender told us that their soups and... More

My husband Snook and I spent a couple hours here on a Saturday night in Hancock. The bartender and cook were very friendly as were the other patrons who were town locals. There is a dining room but we chose to eat at the bar in hopes of striking up conversation - which we did. We shared a fish sandwich... More

I do not eat meat. It might not be the best restaurant for veggie lovers:) The beer is great according to the guys. I also think it is not the cleanest place. We were told how great the desserts are but there were none left. I loved their sweet potato fries. It was over the 4th of July weekend and... More

We walked in and it is a loud bar with a dining room off to the side. We stand there 2 minutes and the bartender waves us in to seat ourselves as if we should have somehow known that. We sit down and are assaulted by three TVs, one with fake horse racing, one with continuous Keno, and the other... More

After driving to LCI and finding it closed on a Monday, we started driving into Hancock for another dining venue when our friend said her son used to frequent a place called TRIANGLE. A minute later we were pulling into the parking lot and our initial response was that maybe it was not such a good idea. There is nothing... More
