Very good lunch for both of us. Highly recommended. We had the turkey club sandwich (huge!) and the meatball vegetable soup. Delicious.

Today was a solo day for my social activities so I chose to have lunch at the Bayard House. Mary, my server, accommodated my request to have slow service by ordering one thing at a time. I started with the crab bisque which was very...More

We enjoyed dinner at the Bayard House, oldest building in quaint Cheaspeake City, overlooking the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal. As you would expect, the menu includes many seafood choices. I had the rock fish topped with crabmeat which was excellent.

The Bayard House is located just short of water level, from the front the whole canal can be seen, the food is excellent and the Umbrella bar located on the patio is simple with class. Expect no disappointment

Really disappointed with the experience at the restaurant. Our server was slow, forgot items (twice) and generally did not seem to care. This was partly explained when I went in to the restaurant to use the rest rooms (we were seated outside) and witnessed the...More

We had the worst crab cake we ever had. It had to be imported crab. As soon as we bit into it we knew it could not be domestic. My husband had an allergy attack right after eating it..............head and chest congestion and blowing his...More

Great drinks and awesome outside seating. Nice view of the canal. We sat under the big umbrella at the bar. Good crab cake sandwich

Was once great, now it’s just awful! From the building in and out right down to the food. No redeeming quality.

I met some friends here for drinks and dinner and sat at the outside bar. What a great view of the ships and town. The food was excellent and the staff was very attentive. We have a great time. There is also inside dining.

Great place in this cute little town. We sat outside at the umbrella bar for drinks and it was really enjoyable. The other customers were all very friendly.

I have dined here several times however, I never ordered lobster only the crab cakes. The crab cakes are the best I have had in the region. I recommend you call the restaurant directly regarding your question. Happy Travels!
