Service was great as was food price was $35 per head for meal, of course work related no drinks included... give us lower deck, to our selfs which was great for Christmas exchange with private view of water at no charge... I believe they charge for parties in this area during the week... More

The view is amazing. The atmosphere inside is cozy, with a log burning fireplace on a cold winter day. The crab bisque was delicious, after I sent it back to be warmed. Barbara, the waitress, needed to be warmed up, also. She was quite snooty most of our meal. My husband enjoyed his rock fish sandwich. I think $100 for... More

There is a bar under the main restaurant called Hole in the Wall. It gets its name from the time the canal was built. It a fun place to go for drinks and a good time. You can see the ships passing by too.

Seven of us had lunch at this restuarant and all enjoyed their food. I had calamari, which I love, and it was excellent and plentiful, enough to share with others. Nice location with views of the water and marine traffic. Would definitely choose it again.

View that are charming along the Canal; excellent food and drinks; very good service; ate on the porch for a late fall treat was a little windy but worth it and the view; excellent Bloody Mary and the Crabcake Melt was to die for

Thougth prices were high for what you got and food was average. The crab cake was 16.00 and about the size if a golf ball. It is a pretty location on the water but expected more for the quality of food.

Had a wonderful lunch here today while visiting Chesapeake City. Roast beef sandwich - excellent; wild mushroom strudel, chicken salad and key lime pie - very good. The only disappointment was the "edge" salad, which proved light on bacon bits and dressing. The Kentucky pie made up for it. Service and surroundings were excellent.

I'm a little surprised that we enjoyed our meal as much as we did. I had the fish tacos, my husband had the crabcake sandwich. Both were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The sweet potato fries were killer! The restaurant decor is a little outdated, but we sat outside and watched the boats pass by. It was a great place to... More
