Great Spanish Tapa place in central Bethesda. The food is unbelievable especially when combined with excellent wine. Food is prepared quickly. Service was excellent, even if you don't speak Spanish. There is a sommelier on site with great suggestions for pairings. Moderately priced for the quality. Will definitely keep on coming back.

The food here is almost always outstanding and they have a decent list of reasonably priced wines. Usually 5 tapa plates are about right for two people. Most recently we had salad with anchovies, jamon croquettes, cauliflower with olives and dates, baby squid sautéed in white beans and chorizo in mashed potato (served in that order). A Nessa Albariño was... More

This is a staple. We always get sangria and fried calamari. This time we also tried the lentil salad which was quite good. The restaurant recently updated its decor. It looks a lot more like the DC location now.

This place never disappoints! The service is usually excellent, I have never had a bad meal, and the sangria is always to die for! Every time I go with friends we always have a great time! Quality establishment.

We visited Jaleo at lunchtime on a rainy weekday and enjoyed a relatively inexpensive lunch by ordering off the designated lunch menu. We both had a white bean soup and a tuna flauta sandwich. Both were just okay, and the servings weren't large. The ambiance was so fun and funky (they offer very cool round tables for parties of five... More

A very good selection of Tapas, along with good service. The food was very good and we were able to eat in an unhurried atmosphere.

I had dinner with a friend who love the paella; unfortunately they did not have it available because the sofrito to make the paella was not ready. I was disappointed because it was the reason I took my best friend there. We order a few tapas instead and my friend was happy and enjoyed the visit. I would recommend to... More

This sums up our opinion. There is no doubt that this place has good food. However over time the portions appear to be getting tinier as the price has been going up. The price for drinks has also gotten ridiculously high. We would not consider this place to be a good value.

Our group went to jaleo before our trip to Barcelona, to see if we would like the food in Barcelona. Let me tell you this- during our trip to Barcelona we ate as much as we could. We ordered the patatas bravas, which were kind of like little fingerling potatoes in a mayo-like sauce with a spicy powder on it.... More

I must admit I was not all that impressed with this restaurant some colleagues had recommended. Th service was less than average, it took ages to get my order and on top of that it was noisy and the wifi didn't work
