I'm not sure of the date, it may have been this year, but I have visited at least two times. They have good food there, and it is a short walk to the beach. It was pretty full the first time I went there, but unlike some of the other reviewers, I didn't feel rushed, but it might have been... More

Only went because this place was one of the few places open... my wife and 3-year old son went there and ordered the 'eggs and bacon' breakfast. Coffee tasted like it had been brewed yesterday. The scrambled eggs were paper thin and cold. The bacon was a disgusting, strange orange color and tasted very odd. Discarded the remaining 3.5 pieces... More

THIS PLACE IS GROSS!!!! We stopped here one morning before our Christmas shopping as it was the only thing coming up on our GPS since we are out of town. 2 old men and a young girl working- the WEIRDEST vibe. We ordered eggs and an omelet and this food was not edible, it was the grossest thing I've ever... More

We have been to Sandy's many times when we visit York Beach. The staff is great and the breakfasts won't dissappoint.

First the good stuff. the owner and the waitress were both lovely. Coffee was good and hot. Food...horrendous. "Crispy bacon" came out almost raw. Potatoes slightly warmed and barely cooked. Over medium eggs...over hard. Scrambled eggs...obviously poured from ladle onto grill and were so thin they looked like a piece of yellow wallpaper. ANNNDDD they were not inexpensive. Sorry...not again... More

Was busy so put our name in and waited about 15 minutes. We got to watch someone get kicked out of the restaurant by Sandy for requesting to move her seat (I believe) during our wait and this was good. Once sat we had a very nice waitress and then watched Sandy yell at another patron and evict her from... More

We wasted $55 and walked away in a daze. We've never seen eggs served that way, flattened to a dry, thin disk, and a previous reviewer"s comment might explain it: microwave. Ditto on the potatoes. Bring your own hot sauce, as the hot sauce at the Palace is diluted and tasteless. The only positive thing we can say is that... More

We stopped in here on a whim while we were out walking around. Service was very prompt and staff was super friendly. The food was out almost immediately, which can be a nice feature. The food choices were pretty limited and only sort of flavorful I had a breakfast sandwich that advertised that it had ham. I was disappointed to... More

If your iat York Beach it is a great place to get breakfast, reasonable prices for a tourist trap town. Busy busy busy, this little place has about 6 or 7 tables and seats 5 at the counter. The help is so friendly and work so well together, and yes Sandy is the woman outside doing her hosyess thing. Love... More

Stopped here by chance while looking for a breakfast spot. Large menu with a few unique items. Service was extremely prompt. Food was good. Toast was dry. But eggs and bacon were cooked to my liking.
