Best clam chowder in all of New England. Try their Lobster Roll! Go early and be prepared to wait for a table , or take out and eat "al fresco".

My husband and I love the atmosphere, the waitstaff and of course the food. Haddock sandwiches, chowder.... it's all great. When really busy,we get takeout and head to the harbor for a picnic.

A trip to Wells meant several meals at the Fishermen's Catch if you were with my father. He loved this place.

Fisherman's Catch is always a must stop during vacations in July & October. Family says the clam chowder is the best! Love the Lobster paper towel holders.

The only way you would know for sure is to ask the restaurant what they put in their chowder. Generally speaking, clam chowder does not have those, but why chance it?
