3.0 star rating 9/28/2016 Met a friend here for breakfast on a Weds at 10am. Wasn't too busy and we were able to sit outside on the patio as it was a nice day and the patio is shaded. Service was fine but spotty, our water and coffee went empty more than once. I enjoyed my omelette, but the cottage... More

We were lucky enough to meet some people while vacationing in Wells this weekend who raved about Merriland Farm Cafe. What a hidden gem!! Hands down the best "homemade" breakfast ever! Their scratch Maine Blueberry muffins were totally the best we have ever had! Atmosphere is absolutely charming and our server was so sweet and made great recommendations. Can't wait... More

This place is definitely worth going to and you won't go away hungry! Omletts are fantastic! I had the Denver omlet and it was packed full of stuff. Everything I saw come out looked delicious!

Do not give up if you can't find this hidden gem. It's a little challenging finding it, but so worth it in the end! You may mistake the restaurant for someone's house but, rest assured, it's not! Charm, great service, delicious food and Mimosas make this a place we'll visit again and again! Get here early, though, or you will... More

Enjoyed lunch here recently. The setting is beautiful at this little out of the way restaurant. We were seated quickly, with a choice of inside or under the roof where the sides are open to the out-of-doors. We chose under the roof and had a nice table at the back. The menu is extensive and everything looks good. I chose... More

I can't say enough good about this place. Great breakfast, wonderful lunch, great dinner. The prices are inline with what you get. The scallops wrapped in bacon are far and above any other in Wells. The sandwiches are wonderful, the breakfasts are excellent, everything is top notch. I brought two of my friends here for lunch and they are both... More

MapQuest gave us the wrong directions so we almost turned around but thankfully we looked at the numbers on the houses and just kept going the "old-fashioned way."There was a wait for breakfast but again well worth it. The kids had crapes which were delicious my husband had eggs Benedict and I had an omelette. The staff was extremely nice... More

I live in Wells and have visited Merriland Farm for breakfast many times. This time I had guests and decided to try it for dinner. There were 4 of us and we made a ressie. Upon arrival we were treated with wonderful scents coming from the kitchen. The grounds were beautiful as usual. We were seated inside but next to... More

We had lunch at MERRILAND FARMS today. I had the soup and 1/2 sandwich. The clam chowder and haddock Reuben. The half sandwich was the size of a full sandwich anywhere else. My wife had a Cobb salad with a chicken breast so large we took a full half breast home. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We also purchased some... More
