Wanting fried clam strips, we chose Mike's. The clam chowder we had the last time was good. We called ahead for take out. Drive up to the take out parking spots, park, retrieve your order from the friendly staffer at the window. We paid with...a credit card at the window. The portion was a pretty good size. They also tasted good. The second clam strip that my wife picked had a hair attached. We returned, and the friendly staffer immediately got the manager, who sincerely apologized, and gave us a full refund right then and there. She also asked if there was anything that she could get us, and we asked for a replacement order. She put a rush on the order, and it was ready by the time we had walked a few feet back to our car. The replacement order was free. Mike's did the right thing. We will return. Tartar sauce come with the order.More

Well we are not wolves but we had spent time with a pack and we were hungry. Service was pretty good but they didn’t refill our drinks. Food was good but sort of small portions except for the steamer plate. Kind of expensive considering we...had no alcohol and kids meals.More

First time here and the place is huge with lots of parking. Our server Desi was wonderful. Wish we could say more for the food. We each got a regular size half and half fried seafood dinner. I got calamari with gulf shrimp and hubby...got clam strips and scallops. It all tasted good but it was all "soft" in texture. No crispness. With one soda bill came out to just under $60.More

A nice lage sized restaurant with plenty of spacing. Food was brought pretty quick, and was very good. Our waitress was very pleasant. She checked on us several times. I would go back

This is a large popular restaurant in this area that stays fairly crowded all the time, so by default they must be doing something fairly right to have this type of business. Prices are basically average for the area and the food is prepared and...presented well. It's heavy on the fried stuff so not extremely healthy with very limited vegetables. We ordered the lobster pie and it was quite good, not the best we have had, but decent. Service was average but a little harried. Good enough to return and try again, but not exactly memorable. Regardless it's very popular so plan accordingly.More

When we visit Maine we always have to have at least one meal off the beaten path. I always look for non franchise eateries. Mike Clam Shack had great seafood, with big portions and great prices. Guests and staff wore face masks and they took...guests phone numbers before seating you for contact tracing. We will be sure to stop by again on future trips.More

We got good service and good value. This has the feel of a family favorite. The food isn't spectacular, but it is good and hearty.

Found ourselves hungry on a long road trip and by pure good luck pulled into Mike’s. Nice place, very clean. Greeted warmly when we arrived and were promptly seated. The food was pretty darned good, cooked to order and served hot. Service from our waitress,...Jade was the best we have received on this two-week, 21-state trip. Incredible worker; ran the entire room by herself. Every restaurant should have a Jade. Excellent experience overall. Highly recommended.More

We will be back. Delicious. We were looking for fried clams and found Mike's which offers a dinner called half and half. Soo, we split this dinner and had plenty for the both of us. Ordered the large half and half which had friend clams,...sea scallops and we opted onion rings instead of fries. Will definitely go back there..More

My boyfriend wanted lobster - and he feasted on a whole lobster at an amazing price point. I had a perfectly cooked assortment of seafood. The place was mobbed - socially distant to be sure. The decor is - eh. But that's not why to...come - it's for the food and the value.More

I believe they are open most of the fall and winter months. Might close for a short time but best to contact the restaurant.
