My wife and I visited here over last summer, and we overheard the owners being very rude and disrespectful towards their employees. I would not recommend this place. For a employer to treat their staff as such is beyond comprehension, save your money.

When their restaurant isn't open because it's the off season they still sell lobsters retail out of the back. Pretty much Monday-Friday during business hours they are open. Just go to the back door and get what you need. Usually a couple dollars cheaper per pound than other places and they have a full ranges of sizes (up to 4.5#... More

1.Fresh out of the Ocean, 2.Pick your Lunch, 3-Watch them cook it in old fashioned large outside cookers, 4. Enjoy one of the best Lobster Feeds that you will find any place in the world. Just because you had Lobster on the Queen Mary does not mean that you had a quality Lobster Feed. This is the place that rates... More

Excellent food, great service, authentic Maine experience. Forget the hoity- toity restaurants and their high prices. If you came to Maine for a real lobster sandwich and a real lobster pound, eat here. Great service, great food. I eat here every day I'm in Bar Harbor and hope to do for many years to come.

Thanks for the lobster this weekend. It was hard to find hard shell and you saved the day! We appreciate it, and will return for more!

This place was a little crowded but that's just a testament to how good the food is. We had the large lobsters, slaw and drink for a reasonable price. And the lobsters were delicious. You don't need to go to a fancy restaurant, just stop here.

For us this was a very unique dining experience. Your lobster is weighed and cooked outside over a wood fire. A definite must try! For non lobster eaters they serve great hot dogs. The blueberry pie is a must!

Back to MDI for 2016 and several visits to Trenton Bridge for great lobster. It's plain, it's simple, it's direct, and the focus, for us at least, is just on the excellent lobster. Hard shell, about 2.5 lbs each, drawn butter, and we're in heaven! Take your time, get all the meat, savor the sweet succulent meat properly cooked in... More

Although we are no lobster experts (other than the multiple occasions we had lobster in various forms in Boston, NH and Maine), we were sure that we had chosen one of the best places in Bar harbor by the long lines in this establishment. Although the line was long, they have organized the logistics in such a way that the... More

Early dinner. Looking forward to trying out the place. Ordered 2 lobster dinners and side order shrimp. Very expensive. Waited and watched several behind us get there meals. Finally got our order and lobster and shrimp was tough chewy and severely over cooked. Could not even chew it. We were thoroughly disgusted. Won't ever go back
