We stopped here one evening after having toured the park and experienced a great show at Thunder Hole. When we arrived at the restaurant, the hostess was chatting loudly with another worker and eating at her desk. We were told we had to wait for...More

The only place to eat inside the park, Jordan Pond House has beautiful views and good food. The popovers are big, flaky and addictive. The food is good, if not a bit pricey but that's to be expected.

Everyone said you need to try the popovers, so we did. They are light and flaky, which made them nice. The food here is also good. They do have vegetarian and gluten free options. The gift shop there is nice and also offers snacks for...More

Despite arriving for dinner close to closing time, the meal was delicious and the staff super friendly. Biggest gift shop. Lots of outdoor seating. Come day and night.

I had my first ever popover. Didn't even have a clue what a popover was. Then I had one and fell in love. It comes with butter and strawberry jam. For a starter I had the Farmers Market stew. It's all vegetables and very good....More

Salad greens were old, wilted and looked like they came out of a plastic bag on it's expiration day. Popover and strawberry jam were fine but not worth the wait at lunch time. Think this place exists on past reputation .

After a bike ride on the carriage trails, we stopped her for popovers and blueberry lemonade. Slightly overpriced due to the setting, we went at 2pm and didn't have to wait in line. Don't miss the popovers - a warm pastry you put jam and...More

We didn't make reservations. I had read a previous review where someone had said they were told by the host that they only take reservations for 1/3 of the tables and they save the rest for walk in's.

A popover is a light, hollow roll made from an egg batter similar to that of Yorkshire pudding. It is best to ask to talk to the Chef when you have an allergy. That is what I do as I am allergic to eggs, onions and... More
