The Atlantic Baking Co. opens at 7:00 Mon thru Sat. It is a good place for early risers to have coffee, pastries and fresh bread. I like the order of french bread with butter and jam.

This Main Street coffee shop/bakery, across the street from the Farnsworth Museum, features many kinds of breads, muffins and pastries. In addition, they have sandwiches, quiche and salads.

This is a great place to grab a bite between museums and galleries in the lovely town of Rockland. Fresh made sandwiches, wraps and salads, plus cookies and pastries for dessert!

I will start off by admitting that the food quality at this establishment is above average to good but the poor service left me with a bad taste that the food quality could not overcome. Great baked goods in a very pleasant and service friendly atmosphere. Definitely a place to consider for lunch or breakfast.

We stopped in after the Farnsworth Museum visit to grab a pick me up coffee and pastry; about 3 pm. The service was courteous but amateurish. The coffee was tepid and the pastry was left over from an earlier time. Tasty but on the verge of being stale.

We stopped in for a quick snack with our son, daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren and were treated to a friendly staff and good food.

The cafe au laits here are the best! We also enjoyed their bakery and stuffed bread. The staff were all cheerful and friendly. We can't wait to go back next time we are in Maine!

Can eat in or take out. A variety of soups and prepared sandwiches and salads are available and a large amount of different kinds of breads, scones, cookies and other delicious baked goods. Yum!
