Stop and to pick up your fresh baked breads and desserts to take home or eat in. Or have a delicious lunch at their sunlight filled tables. Granola is great! And their offerings change so be sure to come back often to try something new.

Found this place using yelp, and what a find! Fabulous breads and sandwiches and excellent prices. Skip the chain stores and get tasty, crunch, wholesome and satisfying food at this place. Pretty low-key, good vibe, and pretty chill. A place to linger over a good cup of coffee.

This bakery offers a variety of breads, sweets, sandwiches, salads, soup, and granola. They also feature a table with dough that children can roll out and play with.

Big Sky is a great place to visit just to take in the aromas. But to get the best out of your visit, sample some of the breads sold there. They also make granola which is some of the best I have ever had. They have coffee and also make sandwiches. They also sell various fancy deserts.

I tried this place for the first time last week. I liked watching them bake the bread right there in front of me. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and it was wonderful! I will definitely be returning. I also purchased some granola and it was great as well.

This place has great loaves of organic sandwitch bread baked fresh every day. I've been getting our bread here since moving to Portland over 15 years ago. My only complain is they took away the honey wholewheat poppy seed bread. I miss it to this day. Tea rings, granola and sticky buns are all good. And they have Jewish breads... More

this was a viable option 12 years-ago. now it is a sad place to go. I cannot speak for the sandwiches, but the bread would fit nicely into your local supermarket bakery section. their bread is overly sweet, super dense, and too moist. it is like chewing a damp sponge. recently we showed up mid-day requesting bread that "may be... Big Sky is our families favorite place to get loaves of sandwich and toasting breads (we like Standard best for French bread) and for their amazing tea rings and delicious granola. Their original bakery is housed in an old firehouse, with a huge kitchen you can look into and see the breads cooling on racks. There is a play area... More

This is our go-to bakery in Portland. Such a great environment in addition to delicious breads of all kinds. Ask for a free sample of whatever they have on display... They'll give you a whole slice! Also their breads are made with organic wheat which is awesome. Their breads are also sold at Whole Foods!

Big Sky is located in an old firehouse which is a great setting for a very good bakery. Once you enter, the smell of warm bread overwhelms. All the bread is very good as well as the scones and cinnamon buns. Try their sandwiches too. My favorite is the smoked turkey and mozzarella. My favorite bread is the 3 seed.

Thank Jon R
