Wanted to see what all the hype was about, it was worth it. Went on Saturday night and the wait time was an hour and fifteen minutes. Was very excited to hear the buzzers were able to travel to other bars in the area and the added bonus of the hostess giving us suggestions. Once we were seated we tried... More

Poutine Fries cooked in duck fat are amazing. Every bite was crunchy on the outside moist on the inside, so good... a must in Portland.

We were driving through Maine and passing Portland and my friends said we had to stop. We called on the highway, ordered some shakes and poutine. They had it ready when we arrived. Outstanding! Great food. I had the original skake, would get it again.

Loved the French Fries and dipping sauces, shared the Duck Confit Paninni and two Small Fries with Curry Mayo and Spicy Ketchup. Seating is spares and mostly long counter along wall and uncomfortable stools. A black metal palette numerous words on white magnetic strips are provided for entertainment. However they are not very clean and some customers have made up... More

The fries: Yes, they really are worth the hype. I am a self-proclaimed french fry addict and these are some of the best I've ever had. Don't waste anyone's time by ordering a small because you're not going to be able to stop eating these babies. The dipping sauces are fantastic. Pay the little bit extra and try at least... More

Outstanding food, great atmosphere with a friendly staff. Very small dining area so not good for a romantic date but great for making friends!

I've been living here for some time now and only the other week was my first visit to the legendary Duckfat. Everything I expected was actually blown away. I knew it was good, but I've seen other popular trendy restaurants in town that have not lived up to hype. Duckfat absolutely does. Sandwiches are superb. The pickled veggies really add... More

We went for lunch and there was a wait but it was well worth it. The restaurant is small and tables are close. That being said the food is delicious! We ordered the poutine - Belgian fries topped with cheese curd and duck gravy. Oh my! Heavenly and sinful all at the same time. We also ordered a crab panini... More
