Delicious food. Crispy pad Thai. Drunken noodles. Crab Rangoon. Yum!!! We stopped in for dinner before a show at the Portland stage next door. The place was empty which is unfortunate because the food was great. Very casual atmosphere. We'll go back I'm sure!

Came here after the theatre located next door. Great food and staff. Family run with great Thai food selection. The Thai ice tea is a little sweeter then other places but the hot tea is a great alternative. The food was tasteful and stayed true to home cooking.

Zipped in here with only an hour for dinner. Really happy we did. Food was exceptional and the service tops. We were treated like real guests. Like lost friends. Food was a tasty mix of Thai and other Asian delicacies. The Crab Rangoons were incredible. The filling was the best we've tasted. The scallops fried rice was delicious as well... More

There is very good Thai food in Portland and surrounding towns. What Sabieng brings is a new take! Try it. The food is not all the old familiars...it's an adventure and family owned. And DELICIOUS

I've introduced my colleagues to this wonderful place. The Soups are very fresh and hot, Tom Yum with shrimp is outstanding. The owners are very nice people who really seem to care about the customers. I will be back!

We were headed for a Thai restaurant on Congress street but it was closed...... so around the corner we found Sabieng. I was very pleased with the food. Our party consisted of one vegan, one vegetarian and two omnivores and all of us were able to order and eat a full meal. The waitress, who was also the owner, was... More

I came here for an impromptu visit with my friend Alex, and another friend, during First Friday Art Walk. Part of the reason we chose this restaurant is that all of the places along the main drag were full, and had waiting lines... so we chose 'off the beaten path.' We also chose Sabieng for their relatively lower prices than... More

We visit Sabieng every month or so and have been doing so for several years. We are often the only people in the place, but don't let that deter you from trying their food. Their Pad Thai is among the best in Portland and the owners are friendly. Portions are generous and the prices are very reasonable. My one complaint... More

Excellent service, friendly owner-customer connections, lots of fresh green plants as part of decor, AND the food was perfection! Fresh salad was with mixed fresh greens & veggies and sumptuous dressing; curry was not too hot, but just-right spicy with wonderful assorted veggies and sauce; rice was not too sticky, and the tea was perfect with the meal. Definitely, an... More

I planned to walk the peninsula on Thanksgiving day, in search of an Asian restaurant which might be open. When I happened upon Sabieng, I decided this was my opportunity. I have been a few times before. This time I went for take-out, which came up very quickly, as the restaurant was very quiet when I got there. The woman/owner... More
