Grace's is an old church filled with character. The drinks were good and the service was excellent. Very different menu, one of us had venison, another frogmore stew, and my daughter and I had monkfish. The monkfish was just warm when served so the waitress...More

By far the best meal we had while visiting Portland. Exquisite and beautiful setting in an old church, attentive and friendly wait staff, delectable dinners. Totally recommend.

If you're looking for a special place, Grace is for you. A refurbished cathedral, Grace has two floors of dining space each with the ambiance of high ceilings and stained glass windows. It's intimate, yet wide open. Focal point downstairs is the spacious bar and,...More

This repurposed church at first seems overwhelming in size. But from our table in the balcony overlooking the kitchen, it does not feel that way at all. From the moment we entered we felt welcomed and completely at ease. Our server Madison, escorted us to...More

What a great repurposing of a building while staying true to the style of the architecture. But what's really impressive here is the food. Fresh, amazing oysters, especially the John's Bay. The Old Bay Guitarra was a tongue's delight and the Peach Tiramisu was incredibly...More

Our dinners were really outstanding. The ingredients were super fresh and the chef's creativity and skill was wonderful. But be prepared for the space. It is cavernous. Don't expect a warm cozy dining room.

On our recent visit to Portland, a few locals recommended this place. We had appetizers and drinks before moving on to explore more. The staff was very friendly and the charcuterie board, wine and local beer was great. Would definitely come back.

This restaurant is not for someone who does not eat shellfish or has allergies but the kitchen staff will work with you to find a solution. My husband had the bouillabaisse and could not stop raving about it - beautiful to look at and even...More

You'll eat in the former sanctuary of a gothic revival style Methodist church and be in awe of the ambiance the whole time. Wait staff is passionate about the dishes and knowledgable about the wine list, resulting in one of our favorite meals to date...More

Our jaws dropped when we entered. This is one of the most beautiful restaurants we have ever dined at. They have done a remarkable job of repurposing the major elements of the church into functional or decorative elements of the restaurant. The food was wonderful....More

I recommend reservations for sure, especially on the weekend. If you can't get them, it's worth a visit to see the place and have drinks and apps at the bar. Beautiful!
