Popped in on the way back from a long walk with the three hounds. Warm welcome. A bit quite initially but soon some of the local residents turned up and the banter started. Very nice.

Your hosts are a treat. As is their massive hound of dog. But mind him not, the beer is excellent & the food the more so. Suzie will pull the pints while Alan prepares the food. Marvellous. Highly Recommended by one who lives nearby.
Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today. My son and i had the rump steaks with a homemade pepper sauce. Excellent quality meat cooked perfectly. Suzie and Alan have a great pub with very good ales on tap. Thanks for fitting us in on a busy Sunday.
Always good food although large portions, and the land lady is a very exuberant and lovely woman who seems to really enjoy what she does

Very friendly pub ,owners can`t do enough for you . Obviously the focal point of the village for the locals . Interesting and unusual choices on the menu ,can recommend the mexican beef marinated for 24 hours and then cooked for 9 hours..... so delicious!
