We wanted to break away from seafood and we decided on Bua Thai...very quaint and the staff is great. Plenty of options to choose from.

I visit Maine every summer and always go to Bua Thai at least once. I ordered Mango Fried Rice last night, described as "Thai fried rice with egg, snow peas, onion, carrot, mango, cashed nut and scallion." There was a generous portion of rice, but...More
As a newbie to the area, I have been searching for a high-quality local Thai eatery. Last evening, I found Bua Thai! Truly pleasurable - and palatable - from placing my order through delivery, and dinner! I ordered a veggie stir fry w/ ginger &...More

I have eaten Thai all across the country. This was by far the worst place I have eaten; non Thai included. We took take out, so complaining about the meal wasn't an option. My girlfriend who is vegetarian had some soy bean salad that was...More
Thank you for your review. I just wanted to confirm that our seafood special consists of 3 shrimp, 1 mussel, 6 scallops and 6 of squid. This is our standard. It is impossible that we would give customer less.

This little place does a lot of business and was very pleasant for dining in. It's not gourmet Thai food, but well cooked and presented, staff very courteous and efficient.
At first I was hesitant about this restaurant. Rarely saw more than a couple cars here at a time. Later learned it's big on take out. We ate in, and glad we did. Cozy, warm and invitingly decorated. The treatment at the tables was really...More
This was my first visit to Bua Thai, though my mother had been twice before. We arrived at 2pm, well after any lunch crowd, and we're pleased they were open in the hours between lunch and dinner service. Our server was fast and efficient, professional...More
Small restaurant in Old Orchard Beach, ME. Not very good looking from the outside, but the food is excellent. Very good service, and, did I mention, excellent food. Vegetable tempura and spicy pad thai with basil was delicious. Will definitely go back.
