Was hoping to dine Saturday night at 8pm, the website says open until 9pm. Disappointed to call and be told closing at 8. Will try again later in season.

Always thought this place was just a tourist trap until we came in the early spring, around March. So delicious, great service, the freshest seafood. Definitely go!

Ate here twice while visiting. You learn a lot about lobster and get to choose exactly what you want, male, female, soft or hard shell.

We've driven by this restaurant for several years and finally decided to stop and were we in for a treat. The one thing that I absolutely fell in love with was the Lobster Bisque, it is the best around.

Okay, so I am not a lobster fan...something about choosing a live animal and it being turned into my dinner is not for me. But, my husband wanted to have lobster at least once while vacationing in Maine. According to our Bed and Breakfast host, this is the place to go. We went and everything was delicious - even my... The food so fresh! It is expensive. Worth it at least once! I have been a couple places. Locals know less expensive off the beaten path that are delicious!

No visit to Maine would be complete with out dinner at the Ogunquit Lobster Pound. The fireplace in the middle of the room was perfect on a cool November evening. We had our choice of hard or soft shelled lobster and the waitress explained the difference. I had a two pound boiled lobster and my husband had the surf and... More

Have traveled to Ogunquit numerous times over the years and ALWAYS made a point to eat at The Ogunquit Lobster Pound. Just got back from a trip there and will be looking for a new favorite restaurant. The lobster was good, but the rest of the meal was not worth eating. Vegetables were cold, as were potatoes. Not appetizing or... More

My lobster cost $35 and it was a little over a pound. It was really loud in there and it gave me a headache.
