One of our favorite rides on our motorcycle is to the coast of Maine. Easter Sunday we met up with relatives for brunch at the Roost. Hosts Rob and Aldo were busy greeting a steady flow of customers, but always have time to chat for a moment. I had my favorite Maine Lobster Florentine Benedict and it was perfect, as... More

I can't say enough about this lovely establishment. My husband and I were staying at Cliff House to celebrate our anniversary. We decided to take a break from the hotel and I am sure glad we did. The moment we entered, we were greeted by friendly, professional staff and were seated at a quiet table with rustic decor. I was... More

I came to Maine by myself for a birthday adventure, and ended up having dinner here. They were having German night, and were not serving their regular menu, but they kindly made an exception for me thanks to my waitress, Paula. I ordered a burger and fries and they were delicious. The restaurant interior was beautiful, and relaxing. They even... More

The Roost was suggested to us by management at the inn where we were staying. We're glad. The wood decor in the dining room and the real wood-burning fire place made for perfect ambiance, especially since the weather was snow. Service was fast and the food was wonderful. We had a leisurely breakfast and didn't feel rushed. We will definitely... More

This is a delightful place -- charming with fire blazing on a frigid morning, and equally warm wait staff. They serve breakfast and lunch, and it was delicious!

Great Choice for lunch or brunch. We have eaten at Roost several times. The owners and staff are very warm and welcoming. Bloody Mary's are fantastic- they also offer a nice selection of wine, cocktails and craft beers too. I love the tree that grows "through" the bar. Every menu offering we have tried was amazing. My personal favorite is... More

It was a late winter evening with light snow swirls from the cold wind. Inside in the bar area it was warm and cozy . We had an Open Table reservation for a high table there. We started with a glass of Chardonnay. Aldo, one of the proprietors came by our table to say hello to welcome us. We started... More

Very pleasant atmosphere, with homey touches. We were very surprised by the interior from the appearance of the outside - it looked much bigger inside! The deco was tasteful and not overdone. We both had Eggs Benedict, one gluten free, and they were delicious. Hand sliced ham, eggs were perfect, and the hollandaise was great. The tomato chutney tastes more... More

Visited here for a lazy Sunday brunch and it was not disappointed. I had the roost which was tasty. The biscuits were flat not as flaky as I would have hoped but the gravy made up for it. My boyfriend had an omelettes which was fluffy and the best part was you could add griddled muffins as the toast. Great... More
