We stayed at the nearby Harpswell Inn, a B&B and walked down the road to Estes, which was visible from the inn. Hard working people, lobster boats, small shack and barn and dock down at the water. Great light and a public boat launch nearby.

We enjoyed our time and meal at Estes. The staff was friendly and helpful. A nice location for grabbing a drink and enjoying the sunset. Certainly family friendly. Our meals were good and tasty but nothing special.

Around these parts, you expect caring, friendly, and informed service; great steamers and lobsters. What else is there? (A lot, I'm suire, but these are what count!). Estes delivers. We had a great time.

Good steamers and lobster. My friend was upset the server had his baseball cap on as he was raised to think it rude.

At some restaurants yes it is! But considering the price of lobster off the boat is ALMOST half the price of steak from the store it makes me wonder what the cattlemen are getting per pound for beef!! I feel under $30 bucks... More
