The Liberal Cup is a great small town family restaurant. The quality of food is wonderful and portion sizes are generous. I recommend the fish and chips or the Shepard's pie.

We love to stop in whenever we are in town. Always great wait staff and The beer is good too. MY favorite is the Cheddar beef soup! My husband loves the fish, The Full Monty. Never had a bad meal yet and we've been, quite often.

We went with a couple of friends who live in the area who recommended this spot. We got there at 1:15 on a Saturday and had a half hour wait for a table. The food was reasonably priced with lots of specials. The on site brewed beer was tremendous and was bargain priced. I had a sandwich with salami, mortadella,... More

Our group of seven stopped by the Liberal Cup for a quick lunch between hockey games and were quite pleased by the experience. The menu is diverse but also contains the typical pub standards like fish and chips, burgers and chowder. The cup of clam chowder and haddock sandwich were both quite tasty. The haddock was not overwhelmed by the... More

My daughter and I ate lunch there. It was our first time. The food choices and special were excellent and so was the prices and the service. We both ordered what we both wanted to try. We had the rueben with a side and a specialty wrap. The portions were huge and the food was heavenly. Definitely recommend all the... More

Most evenings you will have to wait a short bit but always a good meal. The specials are almost always worth the try.

Love this cozy place in this cozy little town. Everyone from the hostess, bartender and waiter was jolly and friendly. The food is awesome and so are the craft beers.

I am not sure why I have not written a review for the Liberal Cup before as I have been there many times. My most recent visit was Friday night with some girlfriends. I decided to try something new, I usually have the beer battered garlic chicken tenders which I love, but this time I had the Drunken Pot Roast.... More

Stopped in at the suggestion of the owner of Russell's Gems (which is another review!) for an early dinner. The place was busy but not crowded, and had a great vibe. Sign said to seat ourselves and we found a spot in the furthest room from the entrance. Service was quick and friendly, and my husband (a committed Miller Lite... More

Dec.23, the Friday before Christmas, eight of us met for a Christmas get-together lunch. The place was full and screaming busy. There was also a 20-top across from us. Yet, Ashley, our server was "on it!" We were served our drinks within minutes of ordering them. Our meals were served hot. I ordered the blackened flat iron steak ($15.00) with... More
