This restaurant is closed for renovations. It would be helpful if this information was included by any reviewer who knows about it. Driving for 1.5 hours to a closed restaurant is annoying.

Where do you go to eat a home cooked meal, there are not many places that cook a real meal. The potatoes are mashed and not boxed, and the chicken fried steak is great, and the hush puppys. Look I am from Texas and I should know. If you want a home cooked meal and great BBQ then you need... More

They have a 2 for $10 during lunch. 2 people eat for $10. It is great. They have the best ribs. The best item on the menu is the fried rasberry cheesecake.

Had the smoked brisket which was VERY good. Minimal amount of fat. Sides were yummy, too. Small restaurant on inside with great place to sit outside. Beer selection limited. Open only Wed thru Sunday which is going to change with the remodel being done Sep0t 2016.

This place has one of the best chicken fried steaks around. I'm pretty sure you can't get a better one in Maine, and it holds it own against ones I've had across the country. (They call it country fried steak...) Order it with mashed potatoes and white gravy and go hungry, because you are going to want to eat it... More

Great food! Great people! Great ambiance! Excellent BBQ, you can see why they have a wall of awards. They're pulled pork is amazing. They make their own hush puppies and stuffed jalapenos. I loved the green beans as well. The plates are huge, you definitely get enough food. You'll be taking a doggie bag home! Absolutely love the Civil War... More

My wife and I ate an early lunch here on 7/23/16 and had excellent food. We ordered the brisket sandwich and pulled pork sandwich and both were excellent. We were here early so we got to visit with the chef and we told him how much we appreciated that all of our food was hot. The french fries and onion... More

My boyfriend and I were hiking in the area and decided to try GrantLee's for dinner. It's an unassuming little place near Farmington but the smoker out front made me excited to go in! The smell was intoxicating as soon as we pulled into the parking lot. We sat in a comfortable booth and ordered some beers. The beer was... More

It's almost the end of the season for this BBQ joint just outside Farmington, and....we arrived just before the closed for the evening (8 PM). That said, we found the food to be pretty good. The brisket was tender, albeit a little overlooked for my Texas/Alabama roots but well seasoned and served with excellent sides. Was tempted to have the... More
