We have been here several times because my dad lives nearby. They have a wonderful breakfast and dinner. Very homey and everything we've had seemed to be cooked on site, no pre-made things. My daughter loves their giant pancakes! It's fun to people-watch the friendly locals.

My picky eater grandson, 11 years old thought these were the best chicken nuggets he had ever had. I was happy since it was breast meat and not chopped up and processed. The location is convent and on the trail for traveling by ATV. This is one of our favorite stops.

My daughter and I just were not in the mood for anything in the fridge this evening. We had planned to go to The Mill for soup and a Panini, but they were closed early on a Sunday afternoon. Then we were going to try Pastimes, also closed. So my daughter says, Oh lets try The Bear's den. The service... More

This place is a great place to stop and get some food and beers. In the winter they are right along the snowmobile trails for a nice stop and warm up. The food is good and reasonably priced. Awesome staff in the bar.

Breakfast is usually good. The best thing about this place is Theresa super star waitress. She's the queen of the Bears den.

With 9 of us for breakfast the food came out fast, hot and very good! Its also nice that you can get a Bloody Mary!! We love this place so much (in the summer) that we are making a family trip in March to stay at one of the cabins! (Given that OUR cabin will be snowed in)

For the area, I would rate Bear's Den a good solid three to three and a half.. Nothing fancy here, but lots of wildlife on the walls. Bear's Den has a loyal group of regulars. I have not eaten dinner there, but breakfasts are generous and hearty. Lunches are the usual fare of sandwiches, chili, and homemade pies. Their homemade... More

First time to Maine, so we did the 4 seasons atv path and at the end of the path is the Bears Den...... Very friendly staff, looked like a neat set up.. Log cabins right there to rent. Very nice stop!!
