Get the lobster bouillabaisse! It's delicious. The crap cakes were also well done and made up of almost all crab with very little breading. The desserts all got high marks, and we enjoyed the cocktails too. The service is great.

Our stay at the Inn was highlighted by the meals we had here. Breakfast is only available to guests. Too bad, it is fantastic. Dinner on the other hand is available by reservation and I'd recommend you make one. We were able to get a...More

While taking the historic tour in Castine, Maine we stopped at the restaurant at the Pentagoet Inn. We had a fantastic dinner in the quaint setting and to a nice set of jazz music. A definite stop if you're in the area.
We LOVED our dining experience at the inn. We ate on the front deck, so the ambiance was romantic and peaceful. The food was absolutely delicious!
We totally enjoyed our anniversary meal at the restaurant. The cocktails were well made and the food was very, very tasty. It is very quaint and small and that adds to the awesomeness of it. I would totally recommend this.
We ate while staying at the inn. The food was the best we'd had on our Maine trip. The restaurant was quaint and cozy. Loved it.
We've stayed at some wonderful places over the years — including Relais & Chateaux in France — and the Pentagoet Inn and restaurant ranks up there with the best of them. What could be more wonderful after a day off exploring coastal Maine than to...More
We had two breakfasts and one dinner here. The owners exercise their right to change the menu daily so rather than recommending a particular item, I'll just say that everything we had was superb!
