Excellent well priced food and service in a quaint and very old but well maintained venue. Loved the decor, including the old handcarved pew we sat on.

I live reasonably close to this place so I should use it regularly but the last time I came just for a drink and something to eat I remember it being stuffy and slow. Poor selection of beers and very miserable staff. Yep back again...More

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. We both had the Christmas menu, and just as I was thinking it would be nice to have more gravy the waitress came up and asked if I'd like some!

I live this place. Sunday carvery us excellent. We went for last Christmas dinner and they treated us like family. Good is always of a high standard.
