Our friends had been there several times. We went before heading to the airport. It doesn't look like much from the outside. There are only about 15 tables. Nice view of the river. No outside seating, you would be the river. We had the lobster roll with homemade onion rings. I think there must have been a half pound of... More

HUGE Lobster roll (1/2#+ of lightly mayonnaised large chunks of lobster). Price is high but that late lunch is so large that dinner will not be needed. Add a great view of the Penobscot River where the restaurant sits on the bank.

What a surprise very unassuming building that held a great meal! A little pricy but worth every penny my friend and I shared a seafood platter that was more than enough we ended up still taking some home! Friendly service not a bad wait time, don't expect anything fancy because it's far from it but it's very comfortable and worth... More

Wanted seafood, but I'm too cheap and it is pricey here. Husband and I had sandwiches. They were pretty good, not the best. Everyone else there was eating seafood and it did look delicious. If you are looking for great seafood meals and aren't worried about money I would highly recommend this place. Family and friends have all eaten the... More

This is a nice place to bring out of town guests. The place isn't fancy, but we have visited it many times and the seafood never disappoints. Prices are very reasonable and portions are generous. They are offering whoopie pies for dessert regularly now, if you need another reason to give the place a visit.

The Eagles Nest is located along the Penobscot River. The exterior may look a little run down but it is reminiscent of a coastal restaurant weathered by the sea. The interior is a cozy hometown diner with a very friendly staff. The food is typical diner food offering anything from burgers and chicken fingers to lobster rolls. The lobster is... More

very good seafood. No frills, just good fish and lobster. Had a fried clam roll as I did not want the whole dinner. It was great.

I always return to the Eagle's Nest when I am in the area. Don't be fooled by its humble exterior, slooping floors, crowded extremely small environment, or the smell of grease. Their lobster rolls are delicious and lobster-packed. Make sure to go at off times as they don't take reservations, and there is often a long wait....outdoors. Worth it for... More

What a find! The seafood platter is SO tasty and delicious! Plenty of food to share for the whole table! The only reason it is not a 5 is due to fact they do not serve alcohol- yes, you read that right! Stop you wont be disappointed. Will we come again? YES!

Sometimes things change for the good, but my most recent visit to the restaurant I couldn't have been more disappointed. The Lobster stew was shameful, pieces of lobster swimming in a bland very weak broth that resembled a splash of milk and water. As for the main course we ordered the Seafood platter, the clams had absolutely no flavor, the... More
