Our 'dog-friendly' restaurant of choice: not often you get such delicious food in a friendly atmosphere-and great service, dog friendly too! Thanks one and all-we'll be back!

Really good value, freshly cooked food from well chosen local ingredients. Small interesting wine list at reasonable prices. Local beers available. Pleasant welcome and log fire

Ignore the opening times posted on the front door! This pub/restaurant is only open Wed to Sun and opens an hour later than advertised. When you get inside it is a proper country pub complete with open fire and penetrating damp. Beer is well kept...More

the service was very slow, we waited over an hour for our food and the pub was not busy. All mains around £15 which for what you got was expensive and very small plates

Great staff, epic views and outstanding grub! The menu is small but very tasty. Taking in the views from Waddington Fell and a safe place for children to run around is lovely. The owner really makes it a personal visit too. Dogs welcome!

Had an amazing lunch with perfect service, thank you! Lovely setting, host and bar staff was very welcoming, good gin menu (served in proper glasses!) and food was amazing in a beautiful setting. What's not to like. More of the same please! ❤️❤️

After a fantastic cycle ride up many hills in the area we were keen for some good food and we weren't disappointed. The meal was excellent with good, attentive and friendly service. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Definitely worth a visit for anyone touring the area; nice pub atmosphere with good selection of Bowland Ales. We had dinner and whilst the menu is quite compact, the options are not typical pub food but more on a par with a restaurant. And, what...More

I travelled from Scotland but stayed overnight in the rooms they have upstairs. I only wish it was closer. The food is fantastic as is the hosting and the scenery in the area is lovely. Don't know how long your journey from... More

Description
A contemporary country inn with its fair share of history, The Parkers Arms is located just outside of Clitheroe in the prettily sleepy village of Newton in Bowland where, so were told you can hear the grass grow. The beautifully traditional whitewashed inn, hung with colourful baskets of flowers and lined with parasol shaded outdoor tables, invites guests in with the promise of glorious regional food and a relaxed but sophisticated atmosphere both of which it delivers in spades. The cuisine is rightfully British, with a few global treats of course, based on local and seasonal ingredients cooked using creativity and imagination as well as a little tradition too (and speaking of tradition we absolutely insist you try the fantastic Sunday roast here at The Parkers Arms). Pints of good local ales are joined by delicious wines from all over the globe, so whether youre resting after a bracing dog walk or celebrating a special occasion, The Parkers Arms has not only the food but the drink to suit too. Indeed, balancing modern and classic style, informal and efficient service and relaxed and special food, The Parkers Arms appears to have created what could quite easily be the perfect local inn.
