Lovely real ales, superb food, friendly staff. The guys who run this place really care about every detail, you can see its a labour of love for them. I just wish I lived next door!

Excellent food in a pub atmosphere. The menu is varied and covers most tastes, and the food is prepared and cooked on-site. The result is a very good meal at a reasonable price.

As has been said on earlier posts, the place is pretty dilapidated but there are signs saying it is being refurbed, though I didn't see any signs of it. Staff really nice and friendly and drinks nice. Food, forget it!! They had run out of...More

I had not visited this pub for many years after once being given a pint containing pipe cleaning fluid residue. It wasn't so much that; after all, we all make mistakes. No, what bugged me was the attitude when I pointed it out and asked...More
