Great local atmosphere - been here since the 50s (or maybe before). All great and authentic Louisiana food - if your first time, you must try their famous "Shrimp Buster" - big Louisiana shrimp butterfly and fried with special sauce.
The shrimp buster is incredible, their gumbo is delicious, and their hamburgers are pretty good too. A truly legendary Louisiana hole-in-the-wall institution. Their gumbo is on par with anyone in South Louisiana.
If your looking for authentic Louisiana cuisine Jerry K's is the place! The soft shell crab was amazing and po boy was perfect! The Devore inside is authentic as you get ! With the restaurant around since mid 30's it's has not changed
