Stopped here and ate a couple links of boudin with my boys. Really good. Best I had (with the possible exception of the crawfish boudin I had in New Orleans) of the several places I tried. I will be getting some boudin shipped to me once my supply runs out.

As usual I stopped coming and going. When we stopped the first time I tried the boudain tater tots. They would have been good except the grease was old and they had a nasty taste. I got my usual boudain and tried the seafood boudain for the first time. It was good and spicy. On my way back through I... More

One of the perks of living in Acadiana is getting good boudin. Don's recipe is one of my favorites. The store also has a variety of Cajun style specialty meats, cracklins, and if you come before 2pm they serve a good plate lunch.

Stopped by Don's specialty meats to get some Boudin and fresh Cracklin's to take to a customer. I decided to keep the Cracklin's for myself as that they are addictive. I do not get Boudin except for when I visit south Louisiana on business. I understand why it is a local favorite!

Don's was for several years a great place to purchase cajun delicacies like boudin and cracklins, but other nearby markets have now far surpassed them in cooking quality and taste. They have good service, are courteous and the store is well stocked with cajun food articles. The meat counter is well displayed.

Don's has great boudin and cracklins. They constantly have people in and out of the business. I enjoy picking up their speciality meats for cooking.

Since I am your basic Northerner with limited food experiences in Cajun Country my traveling companion suggested we stop. He uncovered that I was unfamiliar with either what a Boudin or a crackilngs were or what they tasted like!! He wouldn't let our journey end without me tasting both. They offered all fresh and he bought some for his family... More

Although the food was not the best the decor made me feel at home. The boudin was not my favorite. Thanks!
