Passing through Cajun country during crawfish season so had to get some. Ordered the four pound tray. Was surprised that it was $28. Highest I have seen for a diner type place. Plus they charge extra for the normal accompaniment of boiled potato and corn on cob. Crawfish were very good but not the best I have ever had. Service... More

My wife and I visited R & M's Boiling Point restaurant with some friends for our 32nd wedding anniversary. We ordered gumbo, crabs and shrimp. Our friends, who are locals, knew how to peel the crabs and helped us enjoyed them. Atmosphere is welcoming and the service was very good.

Ate here with a large family of 10. They took care of us well. We had an assortment of dishes and they were all really good. Coldest Beer I've had in a long time. Nice place. It is loud in here with all people like other reviewers have said. I'd go here again!

We enjoyed local fare with outstanding service. My husband chose alligator and we liked it very much, to our surprise! I had the grilled shrimp wrap - it was wonderful! Our waitress was friendly and helped suggest our dessert choice - chocolate cake! Delicious!! A great choice for local cuisine!!

My server was extremely helpful and friendly and recommended the fried crawfish for me to try which was delicious. Not a fancy restaurant with basic chairs, tables and bathroom facilities but delicious food and great service.

Wonderful locally-owned seafood restaurant. Boiled crabs always are great--full, fat, seasoned to perfection. When the juice runs down your arms and you do not care, you are experiencing Nirvana! A dozen was way too much!

Description
We are a locally owned family restaurant since 1981. We have just open in a new location just across highway 90. We have been serving Boiled, Fried & Grilled Seafood for 34 years. We are also serving homemade Hamburger Steaks, poboys, chicken, and our signature dishes such as our famous Catfish along the Teche and so much more. Locals are happy we kept the same floor plan, although we do have a Mini Bar to fix mix drinks and serve wine.
