Many choices to chose from but the chicken, hot tamales, roast beef sandwiches are great. Have not had a bad meal there. They do close early, before 5 so get there by at least 4PM. It is hidden in a residential neighborhood as it was once a local grocery store but morphed into a deli-restaurant. Try it

This hidden deli is a secret among Metairie locals. With delicious poboys and a friendly staff, you feel like you are eating in your mamas kitchen. It's irresistible tamales and shrimp poboys will have you wishing they had longer hours! Grab dinner on the way home from a long work day or stop in and enjoy lunch amid the neighbors!

When you learn that a tamale Po-boy is available you take notice. Add to that the fact that Guillory's is known for their tamales and your hopes rise. And then you take the first bite. Outstanding! The tamales are great and having them as part of a po boy makes them perfect! The place is unassuming and small. That doesn't... More

Fried chicken and tamales are both great! If I ever get tired of the chicken and tamales, I would love to try the rest of the menu which also looks very good. But until then........

The tamales are the best I've ever had. I'm leery about tamales for the most part, but Guillory's is clean, clean and the staff is very professional.

The very best tamales I have had in since Katrina!!! Stuffed artichokes, lunch plate specials, and it's the best kept secret by the neighborhood! Don't block the driveways; you might have to walk a few houses back, but worth every single step! We used to buy hind quarter specials hear about 35 years ago and I hadn't given them any... More

I buy their homemade tamales every time I visit. They hand make them fresh every morning. I buy some to freeze and then always get a dozen with chili and cheese. Soooooo Good!!!

Stopped by last Friday for the first time. We bought a dozen tamales and a 12 box of the fried chicken. The tamales are very tasty. Seasoned well with what seems to be a dash of cayenne. Not too much not too little. Just right. The chicken is of the Krunchy fried Chicken variety. You might have eaten this brand/franchise... More

Today my coworkers & I had the stuffed artichoke & hot tamales. The stuffed artichoke was good and the hot tamales were the best I have had. We eat here at least 1 a month and have never had a bad meal.
