We had been at the local hospital for several hours visiting a dying relative. The roast beef sandwiches were cold. Pieces of the roast beef were hard and not edible. The bread was cold. This is the second bad experience we had at this location. We have eaten at the NOH in Metairie and had a much better experience. This... More

An old friend wanted to get together and this is where we dinned. I had the Hickory Bacon Cheese Deluxe (deluxe means they add lettuce, tomato and pickles) not going to say it was the best I ever had but very good. I really like the garlic fries. Two days later we got together with our neighbors and wound up... More

Checked this place out for lunch. Service was great! Very friendly staff greeted us as we entered. 1st time visiting and wanted to try several things. My husband and I ordered different plates so we could get a little bit of everything! The thin fried catfish was really good as was the fried shrimp. Onion rings were delicious (very thin... More

A great place to take the family for hamburgers or seafood. The onion rings are good and you get4 free soft serve ice cream for the kids.

We visited the one in slidell.la. It was probably some of the best seafood I've eaten. The crawfish queso and the fried green tomatoes were absolutely delicious. Servers were courtesy and helpful. Amount of food you get is more than ample and service was very fast. I would highly recommend this place

This is a good place to get true Louisiana food. The thin catfish is great and so is the gumbo. The service is fast and friendly. I've never had a bad meal here.

Consistently good fried catfish and soups. The ice cream treat at the end of the meal is always appreciated.

My family and I ate here a couple days ago and enjoyed every bite and moment. The kids ate every bit of food on their plates and that's not always the case. The portion size was perfect. This will definitely go on the food rotation next time we are in the area.

Although they offer a variety of hamburgers, I always my fav - the Carribean Burger with mango chutney, pepperjack chese and banana peppers. Different and DELICIOUS. They are the only restaurant, of which I am aware, that serves french fries in butter/garlic/parsley sauce....YUMMMMMMM.
