The corn & crab bisque was the best ever. It was on our Cajun food tour , so that's all we had there. I will definitely go back to try more of the menu

This place was recommended by our hotel over PreJeans. It didn't disappoint. The portions are such you can share and still satisfied. The gumbo is very spicy so beware but very good. We got the oyster plate and shrimp plate. The café whatever cocktail with...More

Tiffany, George Rodrigue's iconic pup, would approve of the menu! But the Sherwood Forest Soup has my vote for the best soup I've ever had. Think of brie, Portobello mushroom, maybe a little Sherry, and magic! I almost ordered a second cup, but the penne...More

I thought about it so much, I came back the next day. Blackened catfish topped with shrimp ettoufee. Just stop it, so good! Crab Florentine next...just put me in a food coma and leave me alone. Mix with the Louisiana art flare of George Rodrigue...More

There is a number of good Louisianian places in Lafayette and Blue Dog is one of the best. Perfect local kitchen, tap beer, and blue dog starring at you for every wall. So, very good, just little bit overpriced.

A trip to Lafayette would not be complete without a visit to the Blue Dog Cafe! A fine tribute to the world-famous Louisiana artist, George Rodrigue, where many of his paintings and a large sculpture are on display. A representative and very flavorful sampling of...More

I love this place. Been here 2 nights in a row. Had the Baked Brie Crawfish Bisque in a bread bowl last night, and Crawfish Etofee tonight. Collin took excellent care of me. I live in Florida and hope to visit here again!

Waitress Erin was super!!! Lunch disappointing. Santillos Ceasar salad had a crab cake in the middle and came with your choice of oysters, crawfish or shrimp. Had oysters on mine. Salad was seasoned so hot we couldn't eat it!! Whatever seasoning was used was way...More

Rose: I'm so sorry he Caesar dressing was too hot for you. It definitely has a zing between the garlic and black pepper. Its possible that someone had a heavy hand. That batch is long gone, so I can't check that one for myself. I...More
