I ate lunch here with three young children. My children are used to dining out, so we were fine, but it might be a bit fancy for many families. They don't have a printed kids menu, but our excellent server, Tammy, let us know of the three option they do have. Only one of my kids ordered a kid's meal.... More

My wife and I were amazed by the quality and value of the lunch we had here. The ambiance inside is adequate but nothing like the dinner venue inside the house. Service was attentive and personal and the pork chop was the best I've eaten in a very long time! Try to allow time for a meal around your home... More

Cafe Burnside: We had lunch there and the food was excellent. Two of us shared the seafood crepe. Our meal was over $40 with one beer and water. The restaurant itself was beautifully furnished but short on servers for a Sunday lunch. Carriage House: Since we had dinner plans somewhere else, we decided to go into the Carriage House for... My company had our Christmas Luncheon at this plantation and it was fabulous, the property was gorgeous and the huge gift shop had tons of things to purchase. I had the Filet Kabob with Roasted Potatoes and it was absolutely delicious! It was cooked to perfection and I walked out of this restaurant feeling full and satisfied. A few others... More

This place is one of our favorites when out touring plantations and enjoying the beauty and charm of Louisiana. It's a great place to get out of the heat and enjoy a flavorful meal. Our favorites are the eggplant with crabmeat and saffron cream and the curried pumpkin, crawfish and corn chowder!

Our tour group ate here when we toured the plantation and it was quite tasty. The service was good and so was the food.

Authentic surroundings from old plantation with great service and food. We had the waitress recommend dishes and all were outstanding, gumbo - red rice and po'boy.

Today we had a family celebration for a retirement and we thought Homas House would be a great place to celebrate. On Friday, August 19, 2016 I called to make a reservation for eleven of which three are children. They person taking my reservation assured me we would have the buffet and a menu to order from. That was good... More

We went out of our way to eat at this restaurant because it was recommended by one of the other plantations we toured earlier in the day. 1st of all you have to pay in the gift shop prior to eating at the restaurant (you do get a credit on your dinner bill but it was a slight pain in... More
