Cozy inviting environment after a long hard day of hiking Menalon Trail. Our server was gracious, helpful, friendly and offered us samples of house wine. He made recommendations off of the menu (grilled mushrooms w balsamic, pesto tomato salad w feta and rooster in wine...sauce over a home made pasta. Fantastic flavors and a wonderful meal - one of the best I have had in 3 weeks in Greece. The food and atmosphere stands on its own but our server made it an extra special experience!More

We arrived at the tavern a freezing cold Friday night and it were immediately surprised by the wonderful setting. A lit fireplace (we sat in front of it) and the nice decoration showed that the owners like their job. This was verified by the smile...of their daughter and waitress which suggested 2 delicious dishes (rooster with pasta and beef stew in tomato sauce with pasta as well). We had some of the red house wine which was good and enjoyed the music (in low volume - perfect!) and the warmth of the fireplace. The meal was also affordable, so we definitely recommend the tavern.More

We stayed in Valtesiniko four days and we had three of our meals in taverna Vasiliko. The quality of the food was really good, you can find traditional dishes, homemade pies and a variety of grilled meat options. The prices were very reasonable and the...service was great.More

Super meal and excellent service. A real discovery! We came across it by accident. Chef is a young man who couldn’t do more to please.

This is a wonderful local family run restaurant where the food was of very good standard and value. The staff especially the 2 daughters who spoke English were sooo welcoming, we felt like we’d living in the village for years. Thank you.

A lovely family owns and runs this tavern and the food is very good! Either grilled lamb chops and saucages or various cooked food and pies, you will have a very nice tasting experience.

We had our dinner 3 times at the taverna. The ingredients were fresh, locally sourced and the cooker's dishes were genuinly homemade. The red wine is home-brewed and the milk pie they offer as dessert was the best ever! Need to mention that at the...first day we were impressed by the exceptional service of Panagiotis, whom treated us as if we were dinning at a high-end restaurant. Overall the tavern's atmosphere is warm and cosy and the menu prices are pretty much reasonable.More

We really loved this beautiful restaurant in Valtesiniko village where we spent a nice weekend lately. Gianna the owner welcomes the guests into their beautiful, clean, cozy, and traditional place. A huge fireplace and typical mountain food, mostly for meat lovers, together with very good...service. Thank you Gianna and Thank You Stavros Anagnou for inviting us to your beautiful father land !!!More
